Peace is when you trust the law
So you can do nothing but corrupt yourself with calmness
And being calm is good especially if you make it your livelihood
But i think livelihood is not the T.V that makes us have a great wall in the living room every time we face one direction for Netflix
Livelihood is not running to the shops for festive bread because we have to celebrate every morning
Livelihood is not light food because main course is coming
Livelihood is not the many times we go out and take random pictures for the family photo album
Livelihood is not how much we count before we say we made something this month
Livelihood is not how many times we call the cab because we find public transport noisy and because its end month
Livelihood cannot spell my dress my choice
Livelihood is not doing whatever, privacy is when you respect yourself and the heavy words people see in you but cannot pour them into your hands
Livelihood is what puts away our differences instead
Livelihood is the gaps our parents fixed with strokes when we were empty of a sound mind so we move with the lessons today to lecture halls and here we pinch ourselves instead
Livelihood is a shopkeeper spending quality time at home because a distant shop is safe
Livelihood is doing what everyone considers right, so if we steal, we steal the show
Livelihood is seeing the courtroom in a documentary because we judge ourselves every time we are about to do wrong
Livelihood is cutting your ego everytime you feel like asking “We ni kabila gani” in the name of politics
Livelihood is accessing all offices regardless of our second names
Livelihood is sometimes like talent, you live for fans
Like poetry and what to write, words go deep
Like man and doing what’s right
Thank you
